Being an
English spy in 15th century France has its advantages.
Unto the Barony of the Osprey comes greetings your camp coordinator for this year's Gulf Wars Baronial encampment.
Hello one, hello all. It's that time again. Time to start thinking about Gulf
Wars and what will be happening in the encampment.
First of all, traditional spots within the encampment
will be held by pre-reservation only. If you do not pre-reserve for Gulf Wars, I
can't promise you will get your "usual" spot.
Secondly, I will not require copies of your pre-reservation, as I know this has been very difficult for many people to do in the past. Simply email me or write and send the following information:
I will call you or email you to confirm that I have gotten your information and that it is correct. If I don't call you or email you to confirm, it's important you call me as this may mean that I did not get your information.
Although I am working on the honor system here regarding whether or not you have pre-reserved, I will make an attempt to roughly "balance" the numbers with the landcrat prior to the event. In addition to this, I would ask that you try very hard to get your information in as soon as possible.
According to the flyer, the cutoff date for reservations is January 31. I'd like to have all of the reservations in absolutely no later than January 15th. Contact me if this is a problem.
At the bottom of the reservation form, for those of you who have never filled one out before, you will see a blank that says: "Group Camping with" and "Kingdom". You will need to fill these in exactly so as to not cause any confusion in where our numbers are allotted. (Last year, several groups had some difficulty because several varieties of the encampment names were put in that spot, so be extra careful.) Fill it out this way:
Group Camping with: Barony Osprey; Kingdom: Meridies.
Finally, I've added the web address to the Gulf Wars site so you can get any information you might need: http://www.gulfwars.org/
